The Tapo Hub is the heart of your Tapo smart home, connecting devices like smart sensors, switches and buttons, using an ultra-low power wireless protocol. This technology helps battery-powered devices last up to 10 times longer.
Lights automatically turn on when the contact sensor detects the door opening or the motion sensor detects someone passing by.
When motion activity is detected by the sensor, the Tapo pan/tilt camera will activate Patrol Mode and sweep the area to see what's going on.
When the contact sensor or motion sensor detects abnormal behavior, it triggers the hub alarm (up to 90 dB) and notifies you via the Tapo app. Check the specific detection time in the event log from the Tapo app, no matter where you are.
Place the sensors wherever you need with our tool-less installation. Easily mount the motion sensor on furniture or walls with the built-in magnet or 3M tape. Mount the contact sensor on doors or windows with the 3M adhesive.
