The Synology RS1626xs+ is a compact 1U rackmount NAS offering scalable, high-performance storage for enterprise workloads. It provides 4 x 3.5"/2.5" SATA drive bays plus 2 x M.2 2280 NVMe slots for caching, expandable to 16 bays with an RX1225RP expansion unit for up to 384TB of raw capacity.
Powered by a 6-core Intel Xeon D-1726 processor and 16GB of DDR4 ECC memory (expandable to 64GB), it delivers over 84,000 random write IOPS and dual built-in 10GbE ports, with support for optional 25GbE networking. Dual redundant power supplies add resilience for endpoint backup, IP camera surveillance of up to 75 cameras, and private cloud collaboration.
