Gigabit Connectivity with a 370 W PoE Budget
The switch provides 24 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE ports for connecting compatible cameras, access points and other powered devices. Each PoE port can supply up to 30 W, subject to the switch’s total 370 W PoE budget, while two 100/1000 Mbps SFP ports provide fibre uplink options for integration with wider network infrastructure.
Support for IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at enables the switch to work with a broad range of compatible PoE equipment. Its 56 Gbps switching capacity and 41.66 Mpps packet forwarding rate provide the capacity required for multi-device installations.
Practical Management for Surveillance Networks
The supports web-based device management as well as compatible Hik-Central Pro and Hik-Partner Pro management. Hik-Partner Pro can be used to view network topology, port rates, bandwidth utilisation, PoE power usage and alarm status, as well as restart ports and supported connected devices remotely.
PoE watchdog can automatically detect and restart cameras that stop responding. Cable detection can help identify open circuits, short circuits and approximate cable length, making it easier to locate connection problems during installation or maintenance.
Network Control and Protection
IEEE 802.1Q VLAN support allows network traffic to be separated into configurable virtual networks. STP, RSTP and ERPS loop-prevention technologies help protect network communication, while storm control, DHCP snooping, access control and IP source guard features provide additional tools for managing network access and traffic.
The switch also offers 6 kV surge protection and a durable metal enclosure. Its rack-mount design and included mounting ears make it suitable for structured equipment cabinets and professional surveillance installations.
