The BDCOM Single-Mode Bi-Directional SFP (10km) is a BiDi SFP transceiver that transmits and receives over a single strand of single-mode fibre, with a reach of up to 10 kilometres. It uses wavelength-division multiplexing to enable full-duplex communication on one fibre, halving the fibre infrastructure required for point-to-point links. Ideal for ISP backhaul, campus fibre rings, and data centre interconnects where single-fibre economy is needed over medium-distance spans.
