The BDCOM Single-Mode Bi-Directional SFP (10km) is a compact fibre transceiver module that supports single-mode bi-directional (BiDi) transmission over a single fibre strand at distances up to 10km. Using WDM technology to transmit and receive on different wavelengths over one fibre, it halves the fibre infrastructure requirement for point-to-point links. Suitable for FTTx, metro Ethernet, and enterprise fibre network deployments where fibre strand conservation is a priority.
